I have just bought and installed the Spyder2PRO package and I'm disappointed to find in the User Guide that "A multi-head video card will not work correctly" with Windows. Indeed, the software allows me to select and profile each of the monitors in turn, but it appears to overwrite the first profile with the second (without letting me change the profile name), and applies that to both monitors. For the record, this is my setup: PC: Dell Optiplex 745 with Intel Core2 CPU Display adapter: Radeon X1300 Series dual head Primary monitor: Compaq P1220 22in Trinitron type CRT Secondary monitor: CTX PR705F 17in Trinitron type CRT OS: Windows XP Professional Spyder2PRO version: 2.2-4 I have done some Googling and got the clue from this page http://www.northlight-images.co.uk/article_pages/dual_monitor_calibration.html that a fix might be possible. I have installed the Microsoft Color applet, read some other stuff on this subject, and now my head hurts. Can someone please point me to reliable step-by-step instructions to achieve a properly profiled pair of monitors? Thank you! -- Peter Marquis-Kyle www.marquis-kyle.com.au
