As part of the >process for creating a profile you print a test quadrant. I am using >an Epson2200 and the test prints have a sickly greenish tinge as if >they are double color managed. This also came up in the same question directed in the Colorvision support ticket system, so the answer (to post it here as well) is: Media Setting Check is intended as a test to see whether driver media settings are putting down acceptable amounts of ink (not too much; not too little) when color management in the driver is turned OFF. It is NOT intended as a test of profiling and PrintFIX PRO doesn't apply a profile when printing the Media Setting Check image; you're supposed to print the Media Setting Check image with color management turned off; it's supposed to come out non-color-managed, which is exactly what you're seeing. The problem here is that you're using the feature correctly, but thinking that you're supposed to be getting a color managed print, when in fact this step (if you use it at all - it's optional) comes before you ever print a target, take measurements, or build a profile.
