I have a softproofing problem that I think was diagnosed correctly on another forum, and would appreciate help here in solving it. I made color profiles for several papers from OS 10.4 and CS2, and the prints are great - they correspond exactly to the color and tone of the image I have on the monitor in Adobe RGB. The problem is that the soft proof (not the prints) using the profiles has a magenta cast. It is present for color and black and white both, and for perceptual and relative colorimetric intent both. I can correct it with a 10% green filter when I check for other problems if any, but have to remove the filter before printing. It seems that while the color table in the profile sent to the printer is fine and quite accurate, the second color table that is used for soft proofing is not. With PrintFixPro v2 I can edit either the first table or both tables, but I found no way to edit just the second. Am I missing something? Janos
