Thank you for the suggestion. 

Actually each correction is saved as an individually named preset and so is the newly build 
profile. That way I was able to trace when which series of corrections and profiles were build; 
and come to the conclusion that unless quit and restarted PrinFix output all over again the 
same 1st profile it built when started. A simple experiment of building two profiles (one after 
restarting PrintFix) and printing a file confirmed the above.
