System: Vista Ultimate with Nvidia 8800 GTS (640Mb video RAM) 4Gb Main RAM, all the latest drivers, bios, updates etc. Dual monitors, both on DVI outputs. Monitor A is 30" LCD widescreen, Monitor B is 20" Standard LCD. Using Spyder3 Elite v3.0.1 software downloaded from the Datacolor website. Symptom: The Elite3 software will not map properly to Monitor A or Monitor B. What happens is: I start the calibration on Monitor A, complete the process, and at the last step, when you check the "before" and "after", the other monitor shows the profile change. That is, the monitor I did NOT profile, shows the before/after changes. This happens no matter which monitor I start with, or how I save the profile. I have checked and tested the Nvidia control panel settings (latest version) and the windows display control settings. Workaround: unplug Monitor B, run the Elite3 software (which has no problem with the single monitor), save the profile, and then plug in Monitor B. Of course, Monitor B is not profiled, but I only use it for text and menus anyway. Important: The Spyder2 (2.3.5) software has no trouble with my dual monitor setup and works fine. My Wacom tablet has no trouble with with my dual monitor setup and works fine: I have it mapped to switch monitors, which it does without a problem. I am posting this so that DataColor will look into this dual monitor issue and resolve it in a future software release. Shaun Merrigan
