See the comparison here: http://spyder.datacolor.com/s3compare.php I do print my own work, using an Epson 3800. EVERYTHING has improved with the Spyder3. Of course, as I become more experienced (I've been shooting Nikon for over 40 years), I'm improving too, so maybe it's just me! Compared to what I spend on cameras, lenses, printers & supplies, the cost of the Spyder is spare change. You won't regret the upgrade, imho. When you say that it has improved your calibrations, do you mean in reference to Spyder2Pro? Also, do you mean it has improved the quality of the displayed image? In what way? For example, smoother gray scale gradients than with Spyder2Pro? If you make prints, do you get a better print to screen match?<<<
