The replacement for Spyder2Pro is Spyder3Elite; both have the coloimeter feature you describe. However, the replacement for the midline Spyder2 product is now called Spyder3Pro. This causes some confusion, but is really the fault of Pantone, who started this degradation of the meaning of Pro when they named a midline product HueyPro. So it sounds like you have the midline product, and are looking for highend features in it. Sorry for the confusion. There is an upgrade available if you own S3Pro and actually need Elite. C. D.
