Hi, CD...
Does this utility do anything to help the problem with WinXP dual
monitor support? That is when the video card supports dual heads but
does not look to windows as having separate cards (LUTs).
We can't do much about that, its between the OS and the Video card/driver. But I will repeat, there are two possible issues here, which people keep thinking of as one: whether the card will report as two devices, for two profiles, and whether the card can hold two separate sets of LUTs for these two different displays. The issue the utility is dealing with is having the VLUT data (be it one display or two, one card or two) flashed by the OS at various inappropiate times.
I would also point out that we have had only about three reports of the Utility effecting screensavers and energysavers; we can't reproduce it, and its not common. So I would like anyone here who can reproduce the problem to email me PRIVATELY, off list, so we can attempt to figure out what particular configurations this happens under. First, download 3.0.7, see if that solves the issue, and if it doesn't, contact me.
