Re: Spider3Utility and Screen saver

2008-12-14 by madigan_bill

It is a screen saver! On a Windows machine, you can add a security
feature to the screen saver - by requiring that the user log back in
each time the screen saver pops up to get out of the screen saver.
The setting is in on the screen saver Control Panel. You check "on
resume, display logon screen" It is a pain in the ass option if you
work alone - need to log in every time you leave your machine, but is
a good idea if you share a work space. Prevents other people from
using your machine. Some businesses require it. Also a good idea for
a home user if you do not want your spouse/kids reading your email or
messing with your machine.
