Okay, I guess I have had my Spyder3 Elite long
enough for a few questions to start popping up. I would like to start with
two of the tabs under the Preferences screen.
Running version 3.0.7 of the software:
Under the Certification Tab:
Check Certification is set to 1 hour
Confirm CheckCal is set to 2 weeks
Confirm FullCal is set to 1 month
Under the Certification Tab:
Check Certification is set to 1 hour
Confirm CheckCal is set to 2 weeks
Confirm FullCal is set to 1 month
Under the Recalibration
Tab:
Check ReCal is set to 1 hour
Notify if monitor has not been recalibrated (ReCal) within the last: and is set to 1 month
Check ReCal is set to 1 hour
Notify if monitor has not been recalibrated (ReCal) within the last: and is set to 1 month
I guess I am confused by these two tabs as it looks
as if some of the two are redundant.
What I want to do is:
Do a full calibration once a month and check that calibration every two weeks. I only want to be notified if it is time for or I have miss a bi-weekly Calibration Check and a Monthly Full Calibration.

I am not really sure what certification means
unless it is to certify that the last full calibration is still valid via a
checking of the calibration.
Any help or clarification would be
appreciated.
