We did attempt to make it reasonably robust, and it will work with many profiles from other sources, but there are various undocumented things in other profiles that we did not reverse engineer and deal with, so some profiles are cannot be used with it. Your workaround, under XP, is to download the Microsoft color management utility, and use that for assigning profiles, from whatever origin. Microsoft assumed they would be replacing all the functionality of this in Vista with builtin features, which is not exactly the case; but the XP utility won't work under Vista, so you are on your own with Vista... in this as well as other ways.
