Ok, so now we have eliminated that variable. Could it be a dirty sensor or a yellow colored transparent covering that is coming between the instruments sensor and the object being measured? What color is the ambient room lighting in the environment in which you are doing the measurements (under what type of lighting are the measurements being made (tungsten, daylight, fluorescent, quartz-halogen, mixed lighting)?
