Use same monitor profile on two computers?

I am wondering if it's possible to transfer a profile for a monitor to
a different computer, connect the monitor to the new computer and then
point windows to the profile?  I wouldn't change any monitor settings.

What I'm wondering is if the profile is video-card specific.

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
