This is a rather old model (its been on the market nearly five years) so I've never used it specifically. But with LCDs there is not a lot of magic. Mostly you are best off avoiding almost all controls, as there are not actual hardware functions for them to control... so it all ends up getting done with the same RGB valves, and as such doesn't do much for you. This display may be an exception, but I'd still start off by trying it the same way as most any other LCD. Reset to factory defaults, then set the Kelvin value to the number closest to your target value (which will either do nothing, or give you a close starting point) leave everything else alone, tell the software that your display has a backlight control (if this isn't hte first time the software has seen the display, this will require running the Edit Display function from the Go menu), and then use either the Ambient Light wizard, or the Measure Luminance mode to define the target whitepoint. This will then prompt you at the appropriate time to adjust the brightness/backlight control to that luminance level. Works great that way with my older Eizo display... C.
