Paul,

64-bit compatibility isn't a problem; the 4.0.1 software should work  
correctly
both ways.

Try uninstalling the software and installing it again; see if that  
clears it up.
I think I can recall one other person who had this problem a few weeks  
ago,
and that was the solution. If that still doesn't help, open a new  
support ticket
about it and I'll work on it with you there.
