It's not the calibration application that holds the "nagware", it's the Spyder3Utility. Is that running? When you open the Utility's menu, is your recal warning set to the value you want (as opposed to "never")? Is the Utility functioning in other ways, such as changing icon color for different ambient light levels, or outdated display calibration? If so, then it would seem to be the process of popping up the warning dialog box that is failing to happen. If not, then it's some other factor with having the Utility triggered at startup, or keeping your preferences, or some such. But no, this is not normal, or even common. C. D.
