Spyder3Print SR 4.1.1 win

I downloaded the Spyder3Print SR 4.1.1 win upgrade tonight to use with my Spectro #1005 but I can not complete the installation because the program will not recognize that the Spectro is plugged into a USB port. Is this a Sprctro driver problem or some other installation problem. Does anyone have any ideas on what I should do next?
