It's due to multiple factors, but I think the one most noticable is the softproof black. It is being raised above absolute black, but on screen it's raised above screen black, which is not absolute. So you can lower the L* value of the softproof black in our SpyderProof Edit screen, to get a tighter match. White can be tweaked as well. C. D. Tobie Global Product Technology Mngr.
