Hi, I recently got a new monitor (Nec MultiSync PA241w) and calibrated it with Spyder3Elite4. Now have excellent screen to print match using Spider3Print. My old Eizo is now part of a dual monitor display. It has a definite pink cast and in the past has caused me no little trouble getting profiles (print) to work. Since adding the Nec, I have visually matched the two to the Nec and both now allow good monitor to print matching. The following is an explanation I found on the Nec SpectraView website. I do not profess to be an expert in color management, but this helped me. (And getting a new monitor) "Question: I'm using two different displays and calibrating both to the same target, however the white points do not match exactly. What can I do to improve this? Answer: This issue can be caused by the different spectral outputs of the two displays causing the human eye to see color differences differently than the color sensor used to calibrate the displays. In this case the numerical measurements from the color sensor are identical on both displays, but they do not visually match. Manually visually matching one display to another can usually avoid this issue."
