Afterwards I began to ask myself about the media setting. There was no access to pick from a menu from within S3P so how does one do this? The only thing that comes up is a screen in which to pick paper size, tray(or manual feed, etc).I can go into PS(CS4 in this case), but I do not have access to the page setup unless I call up an image and then the settings chosen will be for that image, not the target.

After some digging, I found where to find the setting,(before seeing these responses) but at first is was not obvious. Once I got to the "Profiling-Print Target Screen"
and next to "Print Selected Target" the "Print" button brought up the Page Setup box. Clicking "OK" brings up another screen asking if you want to print all the pages or just the one shown. At that point I should have made the choice but since I had not been presented with the option to make a media selection, I thought that it would just start printing. Had I continued and made my choice which would have brought up the "Page" box which is where the media setting, etc is determined. I guess I expected it to be found earlier(after clicking "OK" from the Page Setup box), and when it didn't, I backed out.
But, for now, all is well and have printed out some Media Setting Check pages to make a determination as to which media to chose. So far I have printed 4 separate pages(4 different media settings-all on the same paper) and see subtle changes. It's not easy to pick between them!
And for the record, I did state that I was on Windows Vista and not OSX(Mac) 8^)
