No. The problem is not making profiles at all. Spyderprint does that fine and in any case the Epson icc profiles are quite good. Very good, actually. The problem is when you print with Photoshop handles colors and use that or an Epson profile it looks like crap. Since the Epson driver and the R1800 are essentially obsolete in Snow Leopard.
