Neither my old laptop (Vista) nor my new one (Windows 7) loads the monitor profile produced by Spyder 4 calibration even though that named profile is set as the default in Windows Color Management (verfied). This problem is seen when using my VGA connect LCD monitor. I am not sure about the laptop monitor. Both have been calibrated with the Spyder. In order to get the calibrated profile to load, I need to open Paint Shop Pro X4 which specifies that profile for the monitor. Upon shut down and reboot the information is lost again and the calibrated profile takes effect only after reopening Paint Shop Pro X4. Am I doing something wrong. Thanks. Robert
