I have had a new Win7/64bit system built and have finally reached the point of installing the Spyder3Elite driver--why I had to pay $19 for the driver is a mystery (and annoyance) to me but I digress... In the Spyder3 Utility Preferences in the "Video Card" section, the "Load Video Card Lookup Table (LUT) Every" option has "Never", "1 Minute", "5 Minutes", "10 Minutes", "30 Minutes" and "60 Minutes" and I've chosen the "Never" option but I don't know if that's correct. My guess is that on some systems the LUT is unloaded for some reason and this setting allows the LUT to be reloaded sort of automagically without having to reboot. Is there info/documentation on when/how this unloading might occur? Is there something in the Spyder3 Utility icon that would display that the LUT has been unloaded--changes color or something? Is "Never" a reasonable choice on a Win7/64bit system--using an Asus PA248Q monitor via NVIDIA Quadro 600 video card. Thanks! Terrie http://tlbtlb.com/ tlbtlb@...
