.... but it is a "spectro".  You mean people get confused between
spectrocolorimeter and spectrophotometer?  Yes sometimes they do. 
Technicaly our eyes are spectrocolorimeters not spectrophotometers ...
really fancy ones at that!  It just makes the physics of color vision
that much more fascinating.
