To me it seemed misleading though it is technicaly correct. First it should be pointed out that when a profile is created ... it is automaticaly created with THREE rendering intents encapsulated in the file. In fact to be a standards compliant ICC profile you pretty much have to include all three intents every time. The author is refering to the default intent being used for the *test* prints created by PrintFIX PRO at the end of the profiling process. It is also inaccurate to say that saturation intent maps out of gamut colors to what could be interpreted to be random colors. It doesn't do that but out of gamut colors do look clipped ... and rightly so because thats what you're instructing the color management engine to do. SO ... when you see that little box on the bottom which asks you which rendering intent you want to use for the test prints ... it does NOT mean that there is somehow a "Default" intent set in the profile itself or that the other intents are not built.
