Problems In Downloading Printfixpro 1.1 update

Problems In Downloading Printfixpro 1.1 update

2006-06-09 by Gaetan Dery

Ok I give up. I have tried to download the PrintFixPRO 1.1 update and every
time it tells me "decompression failed"
What am I not doing correctly?

Gaetan,

I'm going to double-check the installer on the CV-US site. In the meantime,
go ahead and download (instead) from the CV Europe site, I know that installer
is fine because it's had hundreds of downloads.

The page to go to is here:

Dave:
Thanks for the info. Went to the site and when I hit the download button I got pages of gibberish. Don\u2019t know what I am doing wrong but I have no problems downloading other programs.

Which site: CV-US gives you gibberish; or CV-Europe...?

(CV-US, right?)

I'm sure you're not doing anything wrong.

I'm downloading from the US site right now. (You're getting the Mac, or the Windows,
installer...?)

I'll check it when it's finished.

Gaetan,

You're right. The Mac installers on both sites don't work. (US doesn't decompress, Europe doesn't start
downloading properly). Someone will fix this asap, but I don't know how "asap" that's going to be, so:

Email me, off-list, and I'll give you another location that you CAN download a "good" installer from.

First, are you getting the whole, huge, 150 megs of it? If not, then thats
your issue. If so, and you are opening it with Stuffit unsuccessfully, then
use the Mac OS level decompression tool instead, and see if that works for you.
Simply double clicking may trigger this, or you might have to select the app
from the popdown "open with" list.

Mr Tobie:

I contacted Mr Miller offline and from his site, I was able to download with
no problems whatsoever.

Thank you for your interest
