PrintFix Pro 4X6 Targets?

PrintFix Pro 4X6 Targets?

2006-12-29 by Phiegze

I am running PrintFix Pro on WInXpPro.

Is there a way to print targets to 4x6 stock?

I have a lot and it is different than any of my larger paper.

This if for cheap quick prints and I could use a the profile from a
similar lager paper but it would be "fun" to try to print all the
colours as 4x6 and do it right.

Open up the 4x6 targets in the Targets subfolder, using Photoshop, and
print them from Photoshop (don't color manage them when you open them;
and print them with No Color Management in Print with Preview).

After you've printed them, just read the patches in the proper order
using PFP 2.0.

I assume you have downloaded PrintFIX PRO 2.0? There are 4x6 targets in the Targets folder within the PrintFIX PRO 2.0 folder. Open them in Photoshop, without assigning or converting on opening. Print all four quadrants at the same setting on your 4x6 media. Allow to dry, then assemble into one 8x10 target by taping together from the back. Then read by choosing the 225 patch target (which is what this assembles into) and reading the patches in the standard manner.
