PFPro targets through iPF5000 PS plug-in for creating profiles

PFPro targets through iPF5000 PS plug-in for creating profiles

2006-12-29 by garycay

First - sorry if this did already get covered, and I missed it.

Question: to create paper profiles specific to printing images from
PhotoShop through the Canon plug-in.

I hypothesize that I would use the tif targets in the
Colorvison\PrintIFX PRO\Targets folder - open them in PhotoShop and
print thru the plug-in. Yes - No? My further question here is this: the
image is 92 pi.
Do I print as is (908px701p)? (the target I looked at is expert target
page 1). If not, then what - uprez or??

And then of course any other workflow details worth knowing/reviewing
for this particular workflow for creating profiles.

Thanks
Gary

This is about color, not resolution, use them the way they are.

I find that they plug-in is less prone to bugs and issues than the standard driver, so you should find it straightforward enough. Print the target without color management, then use by choosing the profile in the same popdown.
