Why Modify a PFP Profile For B&W Toning?

Why Modify a PFP Profile For B&W Toning?

2007-02-12 by Tom Husband

Is there any advantage to creating a toning profile through PFP
(modifying the profile) rather than just toning a B&W image in
Photoshop and print using the standard unmodified PFP profile with the
incorporated extended gray target?

Just wondering.

Thanks,

Tom Husband

PF2 has some very nice controlls for doing that for you with probably
finer & more linear results. Also, if you print B&W routinely, saves
you the time of doing the adjustment layer every time.
