PrintFix Pro & QTR B&W profiling

PrintFix Pro & QTR B&W profiling

2006-03-07 by davedoughman

I've not tried to make my own profiles for QTR but now being the proud
owner of PrintFix Pro I'm anxious to try - If I can find some nice
handholding step by step instructions.

Anyone know of instructions/procedure to make QRT profiles with
PrintFix Pro?

Dave

One of our fearless group leaders had suggested he would be posting info on that, if I'm not mistaken.

Hmm...that be me!

Sure you don't want to convert to Bowhaus' rip...it's so much easier?

QTR only weakness is in it's documentation. There are bits and pieces of instructions out
there but not a real coherent step-by-step tutorial. Carl Schofield, one of the original users/
testers of QTR, sent me one of the better QTR tutorials a whiile ago that I'll post shortly. It
might be a little dated but should give a good start.

I'm in the same boat - I'm pretty good at following instructions but get bogged down with the
real techie terms/procedures that I guess most pre-digital (ie. analogue) users experience.
