Quickeys and PrintFix Pro auto patch reading.

I was trying to figure out how to automate reading targets. Even though it's fairly easy to move the spectro and press the spectro's button or press the return/enter key I figured there must be an even easier way....and there is! I downloaded Quickeys' demo - http://www.startly.com/ available for Windows and Mac. Here's the description from the above link: "QuicKeys creates shortcuts that will automate your repetitive tasks with custom hot keys, toolbars, and timers. From typing text, launching programs and remapping keys, to selecting menus, recording & play back of your actions, and everything in between, QuicKeys is the only macro automation tool that you'll ever need." As a test I built a Quickeys "Shortcut" for PrintFix Pro where every two seconds the return key will be pressed once and repeated 15 times for the 225 Patch Target as each row is 15 patches long. It worked sweetly! Two seconds is a little bit short as that duration includes the spectro reading the patch so there is only one second to move and position the spectro for the next reading. Will try going to 2.5 seconds. I'm wondering if Apple's Automator can do the same? Any Automator users out there? Best, John
