Trouble Calibrating Moniter with SpyderPro2.2 - Very Blue
2007-04-30 by tech4x5
I just reinstalled my OS and am having problems calibrating Moniter . I have used used Spyder for years, and this calibration is quite off, very cold and blue. I am running Windows XP Home and have a Samsung LCD moniter and use PS CS2. I have not changed any settings on my moniter since the reinstall of the OS, the Brightness is 50 and Contrast 100 and I have no other adjustments available.. Again, this is how it has always been. I am using the same SpyderPro2.2-4 settings: Gamma 2.2 & White Point 5800. The moniter image is very blue and cold. I have done this a couple of times and it keeps looking the same. It is blue visually, I noticed it right away. And when I look at the PDI test image on the moniter compared to a print, the lower part of the color bar on the right is not white, but pretty blue. Any ideas what I might be doing wrong? Thanks. Matthew Kraus
