Hi
I have 3 PC's & a Notebook that I currently use. I would like to know
whether I could calibrate all of them with 1 Spyder 3 Elite, or whether
I would need to purchase one for each system. I also have a dual
display on one of the PC's. Is this fairly easy to set up?
Regards
Gary

The license for all the Spyder display calibration products is a site license, allowing calibration of all displays at a given site, plus a few laptops. The practical consideration is that you only really need one Spyder3 for doing ambient light monitoring in a given studio (unless its a very large room), but would want more units if you wish to monitor ambient light in more than one room. So you will probably be fine with one Spyder3Elite.
As for multiple display under Windows, that has its own set of challenges. Some videocards can manage profiles and calbration data for more than one display, others can't. The only sure rule is that PCI Express cards all appear to be able to manage it. Adding a second card for the second display (and it doesn't have to be an expensive card, its the available slot thats more of a challenge) will solve the problem for most users who find their card can't manage multiple displays under Windows. Vista was supposed to improve this situation, but has added issues of its own with some videocards/chipsets/drivers.
