Spyder2Pro Counterweight?

Spyder2Pro Counterweight?

2008-08-24 by Mel Hughes

I have seen several mentions here about the Spyder2Pro counterweight.
I did not receive such a thing with mine. Was this an accessory that
was added later? I usually have to position the Spyder the put its
cable under a the edge of my keyboard or the Wacom table to keep it in
position.

The counterweight should be attached to your cable. On the Spyder2 it is a
silver disk; the Spyder3 has a black oval. The weight slides up/down the
cable for adjustment.

I was out of town and away from computers for several days taking my
son to college. As I read this, I realized that I had thought the
counterweight to be some sort of filter. I have been using it for
nearly four years and never suspected that its true purpose was as a
counterweight.

Duh...

Thanks!
