Spyder3: Nice!

Spyder3: Nice!

2008-11-16 by Jim Miller

Working with my Spyder Studio. Just profiled a Dell 2407 that had
previously been done with my Spyder2. With the Spyder2 there was a
need to keep pressing the color setting buttons to level the RGB
within some limits before running the profiles.

For some reason the Spyder3 doesn't require that and it makes the
process very nice!

Pretty much just click "go" and save the result.

Now for profiling the printer...

The RGB Gains balancing function hasn't disappeared with Spyder3Elite,
it's just been hidden a bit deeper, since it's not really recommended
for LCDs anyways, and people find they are very happy with the results
without it in most cases.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
