Datacolor User to User Support Group.

After working well for years, my Spyder2 now gives profiles with a strong cyan cast. This is with Spyder2 Pro 2.3.5 on 3 different calibrations:

1) desktop XP Pro with Samsung LCD monitor
2) ThinkPad Vista 64 on the LCD
3) same ThinkPad Vista 64 calibrating an Epson LCD projector.

In the past all 3 of these have been calibrated with good results. But now all 3 have the same strong cyan cast in the resulting profiles.

Any ideas? Has the Spyder failed?

If the Spyder has failed, what are the options for repair or replacement?

At that point, years down the road, beyond the two year warranty, you  
just get a new Spyder. Besides, the next generation of Spyder3  
hardware is better, and the new software has a lot of improvements as  
well. Just remember that the replacement for Spyder2PRO is not  
Spyder3Pro, its Spyder3Elite...
