calibration disapears evertime a usb port is used

calibration disapears evertime a usb port is used

2009-03-04 by scherlacherm

Hi everone,

I have a problem with my calibration being "knocked off" the screen anytime the computer reads a divice plugged into a usb port. Once it's gone I have to restart the computer to get it back. I'm using the spyder 2 express on a cheap toshiba laptop thats running vista home. If I plug the printer into the computer and turn it on and then start the computer it is fine, the calibration will stay. AS soon as I turn the printer off, it will disappear. Has any one heard of this or have any ideas how to fix it? Colorvision was not much help.

mike

I don't know it's been quite a while. I had someone who was e-mailing me but at the time I didn't have internet. I asked them to please call and no response. I tried calling several times and was put on hold for 10-15 minutes each time before I gave up and hung up. I've learned to live with the problem to a degree. I'm sure there is a fix but I just can't find it. Thanks for replying so soon, now that I have internet access... maybe can get this squared away.

thanks,
mike

Your best bet is to start a new support ticket, and include as much
information about your system etc... after downloading and trying the
latest version of our software, since thats the first thing that
Support will ask you to do.
