Spyder3Pro 3.1.4 - Measured Value Outside of Expected Range

Spyder3Pro 3.1.4 - Measured Value Outside of Expected Range

2010-04-19 by thusband2003

I just installed the latest version 3.1.4 but am getting this message when I check calibration on my Dell 2209WA LCD monitor. Do I need to do a complete re-calibration? I'm on Win 7 and was using version 3.1.2.

Thanks,

Tom Husband

Yes,run a FullCal, and see if that puts you back in parameters.

Ran a full calibration and got the same message. I'm using the Spyder2 could that be the problem? Although it worked fine with version 3.1.2.

Thanks,

Tom

A Spyder2 should not work with any version of Spyder3Pro... and would
certainly explain any errors you are getting.

If I'm using Spyder3 illegally I apologize. I honestly didn't know it was a paid upgrade, everything seem to work just fine. I'll remove it and go back to Spyder2.

Must be getting old. I do have Spyder3 but used the old Spyder2 to calibrate. That's why it wouldn't work of course. The Spyder3 was behind my monitor because the pulsing light was bothering me. Out of sight out of mind I guess.

Or, you could just turn the pulsing light off in Spyder3Utility
Preferences... ;-)
