>>I just purchased the new Studio. I use QTR. To profile my printer can I input information directly into QTR or do I have to do the measurements and then input by hand. Can I use the Grayscales in Spyder3 to do my measurements. In other words, what is the work flow for using this instrument with QTR.
The Measure command in the application's Tools menu offers a number of options including QTR and CreateICC export options. Whether those exported text files may need any editing before recent versions of QTR can parse them is an open question. You will need to print QTR-specific, and CreateICC-specific, targets from QTR or it's supporters, there are no targets contained in Spyder3Print that are designed specifically for those applications. And you will need to seek QTR-specific directions for these processes. This is all outside what Datacolor documents and supports, which is limited to building standard ICC profiles, and taking spot measurements.
