Didn't need to do anything special when doing mine. The 8.5 x 11"
sheets are really hard to feed though :-/

I am using 24" rolls. I have found a way using qimage to repeatedly
feed the roll through 4 times to run (4)-6" square test prints across
the bottom with different settings. Canvas sheets are to hairy for my
anyway. Glad it was painless for you. What do you print? Type canvas
and subject matter?

I'm still selecting the best one out there but I like the Legion
Premium Canvas. Its a little pricey though. List for a 24x40 roll is
$169. A box of 20 8.5x11 lists at $36.95.

Most of my pictures are outdoor nature/landscape and am working on
trying to make a portfolio of national monuments. The monuments are a
little tricky though.

How about yourself?

lexjet instant dry satin canvas. For now. I do 100% custom
portraits. Sole income. We are getting ready to undate our website in
a few weeks. All new gallerys and there will be actually something in
the familys. We are starting our 3rd year. I was a newspaper
photographer before this.

Very nice website design :-) I can only take 13" rolls at the moment
so that choice is out for the moment unless I feel like modifying a
17" roll.

I think you will find an entire description of canvas profiling issues by me in the archive of this list... if I was clever and titled it appropriately so that its searchable...

Please send me, OFF LIST, a photo that posterizes, and the profile it posterizes through... and a description of what is objectionable in the results; all in one Zip or Stuffit archive.
