Spyder3Print and QTR

Spyder3Print and QTR

2010-09-15 by Keith

A question regarding your S3P/QTR instructions. When measuring the 21 step wedge, does it matter which end to start at? From white to black or Black to white?
Also, your instruction(for main Linearization) states to select Density, check the QTR Format Override Box, then make sure the Linearization radio button is selected. When I do this in the order stated, the Density button gets deselected, leaving only the QTR button and the Linearization selected. Is this normal?

Directions for QTR have to come from QTR, not Datacolor. Our suggested settings are for generating what we think would be the best text file. Try it multiple ways and see what the files look like, and how QTR gets along with them. Edit them in a text editor if necessary for whatever version of QTR you have to accept them...
