CS5/Ltr3 Upgrade Question

CS5/Ltr3 Upgrade Question

2010-11-07 by jimbiker@rocketmail.com

Hey again, BikerJim here,
First and foremost, thanks very much to Messieurs Tobie and Miller! I feel that I'm on the right track now. First time ever, tonight (I'm new to Spyder), my print matched my screen, wow that is soooooo cool.
I still have a lot of other questions, which I will ask in do time, if I can't find the answers on my own.
But......
My next pressing question is.....
I just purchased CS5 and Ltr3 upgrades. I've mentioned before that I'm running a MacPro 2.93 Quad-Core Tower 8Gb RAM, Snow Leopard 10.6.4, printing on HP B9180 ( with the new Mac/HP driver 3.2). I currently am running CS4 and Ltr2.
Will I get any surprises with DataColor profiles or equipment interacting with the new Adobe upgrades. Or any other strange issues?
Upgrades are always a little scary, especially when things are working just great as is.

Thanks again to all, Jim

I think most of the problems already occurred by the time you had Snow Leopard, PS CS4 and LR2. I'm not aware of any further gremlins that appear by updating LR and PS to the latest versions, from those versions. For others reading this: this may NOT be true when upgrading from earlier releases of these products.
