Two quick Comments:

1: Thanks to David Tobie for his help with my profiling issue. His
reply did not completely solve the original problem, but a subsequent
writing in his Blog about the same problem introduced me to an
acceptable workaround. Thanks David - Much appreciated.

2:  Reply to Bill Lewis.  
Unfortunately generic profiles from third party paper makers seem to
vary greatly in accuracy. My finding has been that Ilford seems to be
generally poor and only marginally better than nothing. Red River
somewhat better and at least usable. Of course YMMV.

Guess that is why so many of us do our own print/paper profiling.

Glad you have a workaround. I'm still working on documenting the Pro9000/Pro9500 series drivers for custom profile use on the Mac, but its not a trivial project, so I have not published that article yet. Stay tuned.
