I went to my wife's account to make sure the the calibration profile was being loaded and tried to use the SpyderUtility from the Taskbar to enable and disable the calibration and it made no difference. It looked like the calibration profile was not being used on the other accounts.

We used to be able to place your ICC profiles in a global library where they could be accessed by all users. Now, with newer OSes, they don't want that to happen, and eventually won't allow it to happen. This means that profiles end up at the User Library, and that you will probably want to calibrate from each user account to get calibration under each. The activation need be done only once; simply copy your activation code and type it into the right slot in the software under each account.

Sorry, but rather like airport security, this is one of those things we need to live with moving forward.

Thanks for the fast reply:
I am running Windows 7 64-bit.
Everything seems global.
- The calibrated profile is in C:/Windows/System32/spool/drivers/color
- The SpyderUtility.exe is in C:/Program Files (x86)/Datacolor/Soyder4Elite/Utility/
- To make sure the SpyderUtility runs on login, there is a pointer to SpyderUtility.exe in C:/Program Data/Microsoft/Windows/Start Menu/Programs/Startup
There is nothing user specific.
Apart from loading profiles, once Spyder3Elite has been acitvated, why is not activated for all accounts?
I have a lot of other software that I activate (enter license key) from my admin account and it's usable by all other accounts without asking for the key to be entered again.
