Has anyone successively calibrated a ASUS PA246Q with the Spyder 3 Elite?

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Hi Jorge,

I use the same monitor but am having massive issues getting consistency out of my Spyder4.

I can change display modes on the monitor and the Spyder keeps telling me that everything is 100%, when you can easily tell that it isn't.

Datacolor's tech support weren't very helpful when I contacted them.

I have tried it in "Standard" made and in "sRGB" mode and still, it measures and calibrates differently every time.

I am at a loss.

Rob.

Good morning Rob,

Yesterday I received my new Datacolor Studio. I was able to calibrate my monitor in the user's mode successfully.

I do a lot of photography and I would like to be able to print my our photographs. I need to have a calibrated monitor to insure that I will see what I need to print. I haven't play yet with datacolor print, but do hope that I will be able to print what I see in my monitor. I also will see what my B&W pics look like when the monitor is calibrated.

Regards from Sacramento,

Jorge

Thanks Jorge,
I'll give it a try in User mode and see what happens.

When you select user mode, do you make any other changes on the monitor itself with the six-axis settings? , or do you just leave it all up to the Spyder software?

G'day from Brisbane, Australia!

Rob.

Hi Rob,

By no means I'm an expert in this subject, specially because I just got the my monitor this week. Even though the ASUS PA 246Q has several preset modes, most of the time I will be using the USER MODE, since it let you customize your setting. I have calibrated my monitor with my new Spyder 4. I haven't calibrated my printer yet, but my goal is to print what I see on my screen.
