Spyder4Pro

2013-05-16 by samohtleoj86

Hey guys,

Looking for some help. Recently purchased a Spyder4pro but am having trouble connecting it to my laptop. I have Dell with windows 7 and every time I plug the spyder in it says USB device not recognized.

I tried the workaround at:
http://support.datacolor.com/index.php?/default_import/Knowledgebase/Article/View/619/0/windows7-does-not-install-spyder-driver

It still doesn't recognize my device. When browsing in the "Device Manager" screen under the control panel, it shows up as unknowns device with a yellow triangle badge. I've tried uninstalling everything and reinstalling (both software and device driver)

Please help if you have any ideas of what I could be doing wrong.

I'm not a Windows expert, and will have to refer you to support at datacolor.com. to find a solution. Sorry!
