Intel Macs?

2006-02-28 by Roger Hein

I'm a Sypder Pro user and am planning on adding PrintFix Pro to my setup. Will you be
supporting the Intel Mac platform in future software releases? Thanks!

Actually, we support them already. We are not yet building Universal Binary versions of our products, but testing with both Spyder2PRO, and PrintFIX PRO shows no problems with using the current versions on Intel Macs, under Rosetta.

Yes, it struck me the same way. <G> Sometimes things just work like they
should; but in color management? Seldom! So finding that the ColorVision
software *and devices* function as expected on Intel Macs was not just a relief, it
was almost a surprise... we'll do more testing, and eventually there will be
native builds, but its nice to know its not a short term issue.
