Hi Ed,

Out to pasture? I have a DS6M4PRO that I love. I know the right people at Yamaha to talk to. From my many discussions with engineering and marketing personnel, it is clear that Mark IV development is still taking place today and will continue tomorrow. You and I have the richest piano player system ever developed. Additional functionality is coming.

The future looks very good for us Mark IV owners.

Question is why did it take 7 years for us finally get a notable performance on the Mk4 that showcased it's capabilities right before they put it out to pasture?

At least is was on CBS news. Nobody watches that. It was funny to hear them describing what Yamaha did with Elton just a month ago.
