Disklavier

Hi all,
I did some research on the net but no luck. I bought a used gray market 1992 SX100 Yamaha Disklavier. I'm not sure if anyone is familiar with this old unit at all.
It plays very nice from the floppy disk and it has 2 midi ports under the keyboard. 
However none of my computers have recognized the piano (I followed bypassing floppy instructions here :http://www.midiplayertools.com/disks.htm).
I don't know the equivalent of SX100 and the controller (MX100A/B, DGP with controller DKW10, MX80 with controller DK5CR or 
MX100II, MPX100II, DGPII with controller DKC100R or
DGP1 with controller DKC100XG?)

Some says the USB MDII cable should be short and I'm using one I found on Ebay, I don't know if that's the problem.

I ordered an external USB drive to copy music to floppy disks, but that's the last resort.
