Thanks for the infos on network settings; I have already selected the smb setting in the sharing prefs. And for DKCBrowser your findings George dont work for me (10.8.4) there is no reaction in any attempt to play a file (through double clicking or selecting play on the menu etc) the command dont go through. My question about connectivity is mostly solved with the use of MuCommander to access the FromToPc folder. The other connections I have are the midi ones which I use to play (Qmidi or Cubase) and record (multi tracks) files. I could improve maybe and Iwonder if I could also do this (play midi files and record them) on the iPad over wifi ? With the E3 controller and the other disklavier apps (for iPad/iphone) I have a remote control of the DKC850, but could I send a midi file to it that would play in a sequencer on the iPad and would such a sequencer could record my piano playing through the DKC850...? --- In disklavier@yahoogroups.com, Lindsey Wilkins <mlsw1008@...> wrote: > > Don't know how your network is set up, etc I utilize other music > "systems" like Sonos, Airplay, which leverages iCloud, some external drives > I have for music..I always have to go into System Preferences/Sharing/File > Sharing/Options --- make sure you have enabled "Share Files and Folders > using SMB".
